Crane Barges

Crane barges are specially built to support a working crane with a boxed stern for maximum flotation and additional bulkheads or trusses to provide a stronger frame.

Deck Barges

Deck barges are designed to carry cargo on deck or as floating platforms for workers and equipment. We will construct your deck barge to meet the needs for your intended use, whether your cargo is stacked, piled, palleted or stored in containers. We can even build deck barges to carry some liquid cargos in interior watertight compartments.

Dock Barges

Dock barges are becoming very popular for dock usage for the strength, stability and endurance they provide compared to a typical floating dock structure. Dock barges can be held in place with spuds – telescoping legs that reach to the river bed. Dock barge can be used to dock boats in marinas or for the staging and loading/unloading of cargo from deck barges.

Dry Docks

A dry dock is a narrow vessel that can be flooded to allow a load to be floated in, then drained to allow that load to come to rest on a dry platform. Dry docks are often used for the construction, maintenance, and repair of ships, boats, and other watercraft.

Other Vessels

Our expertise in ship building isn’t limited to barges. We build numerous types of vessels for river or ocean use, including boats and dredges. Contact us to learn more.
